A Tough Plant for Sunny Landscapes
Adagio Maiden Grass is a compact ornamental grass that works very well in North Texas landscapes for texture, movement, and low maintenance planting beds.
Best Area to Plant
The "Reflection" Zone:
Because it is incredibly heat-hardy, this is the best plant for curb strips (hell strips) between the sidewalk and the street, or in narrow beds against a brick wall that radiates heat.
Key Features:
Thrives in full sun. It is perfect for adding height and movement behind lower-growing shrubs like Indian Hawthorne or Dwarf Yaupon Holly. It also looks stunning near swimming pools or water features.
Modern & Minimalist Beds:
Its clean, architectural lines make it perfect for modern landscape designs. It looks best when surrounded by decomposed granite or river rock rather than traditional wood mulch. Great for slopes with lots of area to cover. Less invasive than other madian grasses.
